i was 18, about to go to college. i found out, i cried a bit, then i made a plan. in less a week i had made an appointment, gotten the “birth control pill” and was back to planning my dorm room. i had a boyfriend whom i loved and who loved me but he was very much a kid and didn’t have a clue what to do. i have never ever regretted my decision. i had to tell both of my parents who in turn were extremely supportive and in fact my mother told me it had happened to her when she was 19. i feel very empowered by my actions but the only thing that still bothers me to this day is that my boyfriend did not have to lift a finger and never had to tell his family. that’s the part that i might never get over.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
