paul ryan and this administration had to pull out all the stops, including needing the vice president to break a 50-50 tie in the senate, to get this bill passed – a bill that threatens the health care of millions. while this bill does not technically \u201cdefund\u201d clinics like planned parenthood, nullifying this rule on title x will embolden states to block access across the board to family planning clinics, many of which primarily serve low-income communities. it\u2019s striking that this attack comes just as youth leaders at 100 campuses around the nation are preparing for the 1 in 3 campaign\u2019s spring week of action to destigmatize abortion and ensure access. they are truly leading this nation while the president veers from one bad decision to the next.
