sexual health education
we assist local education agencies (leas) to increase their capacity to implement sexual health education (she). the cdc defines she as a systematic approach informed by research and practices that emphasize planned, sequential learning across grade levels. she uses learning objectives, lessons, materials, and assessments that are medically accurate and age-developmentally-
we support leas in three domains to address she:

- strengthen staff capacity
- increase student access to programs and services
- engage parent and community partners

sexual health services
- we assist local education agencies (leas) to increase their capacity to support student access to key sexual health services (shs). this includes specific services like testing for stds, hiv testing, contraception, and condom provision. as well, we support leas in creating adolescent-friendly clinical environments at their school-based health centers (sbhcs) and creating referral systems for accessing shs in the community.
- we support leas in three domains to address shs:
- strengthen staff capacity
- increase student access to programs and services
- engage parent and community partners
