i will not apologize for my abortion. i am not ashamed. i know without a doubt that my choice was the right choice for me.

i read about this organization today in the daily beast and felt compelled to share my story in support of women's rights and freedom in the u.s.

i was 16. this was my very first abortion.

it was 2006 and my relationship was still early and the birth control i had started was in the first month and had not kicked in yet, we were safe, but not safe enough.

i wasn’t raped or physically abused. i was 17 and dumb and still very much a child myself.

i really had my heart set on december 27th for my abortion.
