i was 19. which basically means i was young and carefree. i just got out of a three year relationship with a guy that i was sure that i would marry.

i wish i had not felt so alone and i wish there wasn’t such a stigma about talking about or having an abortion and perhaps i could have had more support during my difficult decision.

before my mother met my father, she had an abortion. i may not be here if she did not make that choice. before i became a mother, i also had one. if i did not make that choice i may not today be the mother of twins.
