deciding to get an abortion was one of the hardest, most heartbreaking, traumatizing decisions that i have ever had to make. i was trying to get out of an abusive relationship and just wasn’t ready to raise a child on my own. i will never forget how the protesters gathered around the clinic and covered the entrance to the parking lot in the dismembered parts of baby dolls (painted to look bloody). i still don’t know if what i did was the right thing.
