i was 27; had just had some most unfortunate medical treatments which left me ill and frightened; i was in no shape to have a child. my fiance agreed, and we found the money and someone with the ability to take care of this… it was illegal at this time, and scary – we could all have gone to jail… i’ve never had the slightest regret. i did have a child later.
