i was 21 when a routine physical showed i was pregnant. i was on the depo shot and in a committed relationship. i was also going to college full time and working full time. i wasn’t ready to be a parent. physically, emotionally or financially. i decided to end the pregnancy. the morning of my procedure, walking across the street to the clinic, i was called a whore. the protesters threw baby doll parts at me while telling me i would burn in hell.

i do not regret, for one moment, my abortion. i never will. i have dedicated my life to the pro choice movement. i am 1 in 3!!
