my husband ran away with a very young woman, leaving me with 4 children to raise alone. the oldest was 8. imagine my emotional state. i began dating for all the wrong reasons…i was not ready. i became pregnant to a man whom i never would have considered marrying. neither could i have raised another child on my own in addition to the 4 i already had. of course i would not have chosen what happened, but it did and i felt desperate. abortion is a desperate act, in my opinion, and needs to be legal.
