i knew i wanted children in the future, but not at that time, with that man. the obgyn i was going to said she was against abortion and would not give me any information on where to obtain one, so i found the clinic on my own. i have always been incredibly grateful to have made that decision. in 1977 the chances of me getting the job that moved me into a lifetime career only a month after the abortion would have been zero if i had been a single pregnant woman. because of that job i have always been able to support myself and raise two beautiful boys. i now have seven grandchildren, and have never once doubted the decision i made.
