at 16 in 1968 i was forced to have an illegal abortion my step father didn’t want the embarrassment of an unwed pregnant daughter. the pain was indescribable i had to stuff the sheets in my mouth to stiffle the screams and the doctor molested me before the procedure…then i had to listen as he flushed it down the toilet…i was not given a choice i was not allowed to own my own body…every woman on the planet has the right to choose to give birth or not. i have been pro choice ever since… its a womens human civil right.
