i had an abortion in either my late 20’s or very early 30’s. it was a case of birth control failure, or maybe just a very active sex life.

in all honesty i was not sure of parenthood, it could have been either of two men i was involved with. it was a time of hard partying and a lot of substance use. absolutely no regrets about having the abortion. it was the correct action at the time. being a parent is a serious decision, and we should all be prepared and willing to put the energy into raising a child/ren well. i went on to have one child. my daughter is my greatest gift to myself and to this planet. when i decided to have a child, my life was stable and i was ready truly prepared emotionally, physically, financially, spiritually and intellectually to raise a child.
