i just recently had an abortion at 21. i have been having sex since i was 15 and i’ve always been safe about it, very cautious. this past augustthough, i had been with my boyfriend for almost two years and he was leaving for college 700 miles away and we started to fool around with no protection. a month after he left i didn’t get my period and had 3 positive pregnancy tests. the week i found out i was pregnant was also the week i found out he was cheating on me and wants to break up. the choice was clear to me. i would be starting my 3rd year in college and i was neither mentally or financially prepared for a child. i am thankful every day that i made the decision i did.
