i proceeded to get an iud, which made counting much more difficult. i was told it was normal that i wasn’t getting my period. 3 months into the pregnancy was when i really began to notice a difference, but afraid to scare my friend, i kept it to myself until i took a test a few weeks later. i was beginning to show, and as scared college students, we couldn’t see another solution. i had an abortion of twins at 16 weeks. it was the hardest thing i’ve ever had to do, but i feel safe in my decision knowing that i can live my life the way i’ve always dreamed.
