i had an abortion during my third year of college. i was an out-of-state student who was working hard to pay my own way through school. i had a boyfriend at the time. having an abortion made sense for me and i do not regret it at all. today, i am married (to a different, wonderful man). i have a professional job which i love and we plan on having children within the next couple of years. if i had a child during school, i definitely wouldn’t be where i am today. it may have taken me longer to finish and i may have had to settle for a different career. i couldn’t be happier with my life, and my abortion made that possible.
