i’m 16 years old and a junior in high school, my boyfriend is 18 and out of school.

i was on birth control but it ran out and i didn’t use condoms or anything to prevent pregnancy. a month later i found out i was pregnant. i had always said i would get an abortion if it came down to it, but it was hard – a part of me wanted to keep it but i wasn’t ready. i’m glad i came to the hard, mature, brave decision i came to. women should have a choice, if we’re not ready to be mothers or too young like in my case, we should have the choice to wait. no regrets. look forward to the future.
